Bank Terrorism
Isotec Security's technologies prevent armed robberies and or takeovers of banks and credit unions. The FBI better defines armed robberies and especially takeovers of banks or credit unions as "bank terrorism". The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) interprets this context to include "harm" to financial interests. The Department stated that the basis for that view is ''there is no geographic requirement in the definition; rather, an act that occurs anywhere may be covered if it causes harm to a person, property, or an entity ''harm'' in the United States."
Once robbed, any target, be it a bank, credit union or jewelry store is considered an easy mark, and a repeat robbery is 80% more likely to happen at that location unless proactive security measures are instituted.
