I got a Benchmade six years ago for $180 and it has been worth every penny. Smooth and fast deployment always begs the question "Is that automatic?" The blade lock release is on the back of the knife, keeping your thumb out of the 'line of fire' when you're folding it. In my opinion, you won't find a better knife until Benchmade forges it.
